Who we are
EDAS is Scotland’s independent membership body for economic development practice — the organisation that connects, supports, and equips the practitioners shaping Scotland’s national, regional and local economies.
EDAS is led by senior economic development leaders from across the public and private sector in Scotland. Our Board has 16 directors who are responsible for all aspects of strategic direction and financial management. Brightstar (Scotland) Limited provides the executive support for all aspects of EDAS operations; with responsibility for organising the events programme, membership recruitment, handling the finances and coordinating the activities of the Board.
