In partnership with Scottish Government, EDAS is delivering a series of open sessions on Community Wealth Building. The aim of these sessions is to support practitioners at every stage of their journey towards a fully integrated CWB approach to economic development.
The fourth session in the series, titled, ‘Inclusive Ownership’, will explore the growth of inclusive forms of ownership within the economy – a key fundamental pillar of Community Wealth Building (CWB).
In this session, we discuss the aim of increasing the extent to which all Scots have, or have the opportunity to, directly own a greater stake in the economy; be it land, property or in an element of economic activity. Through speakers’ insights and audience discussions, we will explore inclusive ownership by considering, the state of play, the challenges and opportunities and where progress is already being made.
Participants will hear from key individuals from the Scottish Land Commission and Scotland’s economic development agencies. Together, the session will explore inclusive ownership by considering the state of play, the challenges and opportunities, and where progress is already being made. Speakers will include relevant examples and case studies and there will be ample opportunity for open discussion around these during the session.
Speakers will be announced in advance of the event. Register your place here.
