Event #5

Scotland is set to introduce groundbreaking legislation to reshape local economies, empower communities, and drive fairer patterns of wealth and prosperity. Whilst community wealth building has already been adopted by many local councils and organisations, the Bill represents a fertile legislative platform for CWB and to economic development more generally: amplifying, scaling and deepening action and outcomes.

So this timely event – as part our Community Wealth Building series – will explore the CWB Bill, the responsibilities it introduces, its potential impact and what it means for Scotland’s public, private, and social sectors, economic and place development more generally and how it plays into reducing poverty, creating prosperity and reaching net zero.
