In partnership with Scottish Government, EDAS is delivering a series of open sessions on Community Wealth Building. The aim of these sessions is to support practitioners at every stage of their journey towards a fully integrated CWB approach to economic development.
Following a productive programme of work in 2020 – 2021 delivered by EDAS and CLES in partnership with Scottish Government and COSLA, the programme for 2022 – 23 builds on this and aims to deliver a programme of activity to support practitioners at every stage of their journey towards a fully integrated Community Wealth Building (CWB) approach to economic development.
The third session in the series, titled, ‘Anchors, Community Planning and Partnerships’, will explore the institutional structures and processes to accelerate Community Wealth Building (CWB).
With a focus on anchors, this session will look at how CWB activity is being pursued through anchor strategies, regional economic partnerships, community planning partnerships and other regional groupings.
Participants will hear from key individuals and practitioners from anchor organisations and economic development agencies, together exploring what can be improved and how we create clear enabling partnership platforms for CWB to scale, amplify and advance. There will also be ample opportunity for Q&A and open discussion with speakers.
Speakers will be announced in advance of the event. Register your place here.
