Zero Waste Scotland have published their energy infrastructure Roadmap to circularity, setting out how Scotland can embed circular economy principles at the heart of its energy transition.
Developed in collaboration with industry and closely aligned to the Circular Economy Strategy, the Roadmap moves beyond ambition to action. It sets out practical interventions to retain material value, strengthen supply chains, support investment and build long-term economic resilience.
From a mission-led approach through a dedicated industry board to targeted actions on skills, data and reuse, it demonstrates how circularity can help deliver a more resilient, productive and future-focused energy system, while supporting Scotland’s wider economic transformation.
