Please join us in a discussion of the economic opportunities of the energy transition and how these opportunities can be realised. We are delighted to welcome the Head of External and Corporate Affairs at Muirhall Energy, Lesley McNeil, who will showcase the Muirhall Energy approach to maximising the socio-economic benefits of onshore wind developments to local communities.

Lesley will be joined for a Q&A session after her talk by representatives from Scottish Enterprise and SSEN, including:

Fiona Ozdemir – Fiona is a Project Manager on the Major Programme Management Team at Scottish Enterprise and works on its Mission for Energy Transition; and

Cameron Dobbie – Cameron is the Sustainable Economics Manager at SSEN that is investing heavily in grid infrastructure projects across Scotland.

This will be an excellent opportunity for early-career economic development professionals, as well as those interested in economic development as a career path, to learn about the opportunities that the energy transition represents from key players in the sector, as well as meeting others working within economic development.
