This post provides a unique opportunity to lead the implementation of a £3 million Ayrshire Growth Deal Community Wealth Building Fund. The post holder will work across the three Ayrshire Local Authorities to coordinate the delivery of this ambitious regional programme. This is an exciting time to join North Ayrshire Council following the launch of Scotland’s first Community Wealth Building strategy, an ambitious net zero carbon by 2030 target and the agreement of the £251 million Ayrshire Growth Deal. This post is part of the Economic Policy team within the Economic Development and Regeneration Service. The post holder will engage closely with the three Ayrshire Local Authorities and regional partners as part of the work of the Ayrshire Community Wealth Building Commission. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.
