An update from the EDAS Future Leaders Network
First in-person event a success
Thank you to all of those who attended our first in person event, in partnership with BiGGAR Economics, focussing on what the energy transition means for the Scottish economy. It was great to meet so many of you. After some networking and refreshments provided by BiGGAR Economics, Lesley McNeil of Muirhall Energy delivered a fantastic presentation on the Muirhall Energy approach and it’s four pillars; Initial Investment Fund, Community Investment funds, local supply chains and community shared ownership. If you missed the evening, have a look at Lesley’s slides here.
Cameron Dobbie, Sustainable Economics Manager at SSEN, and Fiona Ozdemir, Project Manager at Scottish Enterprise and Programme Manager for their Mission for Energy Transition, then joined Lesley for a Q&A session.
A big thanks must go to BiGGAR Economics for hosting the evening, and our panel members for their valuable insight. We look forward to hosting more in person events in the future!
