Local News Commission Sector Survey
The Public Interest News Foundation (PINF) has formed aย Local News Commission, with more than a dozen leading figures from the public, private and voluntary sectors, to generate fresh ideas toย sustain independent local news.
They have created a short survey so that the Commissioners can hear directly fromย you. They may also share the survey findings publicly, but individual responses will remain anonymous.
The group want to know what you think about local news in relation to the sector or community where you work or volunteer. Maybe you are a community organiser in one local area. Maybe you are part of a voluntary organisation that supports people in several local communities. Or maybe you work for a business or a public sector body that operates in local communities all over the UK.
Whatever your role, they want to know what you think about local news in relation to your work. Your views will inform the work of the Local News Commission and may influence future government policy in this area.
